We have had so many adoptions already. We even had an out-of-state adoption. A woman from Washington state flew and drove to adopt two sister cats. Bless you for all of your support for the four-legged hurricane victims, but there are still companion animals in your local areas in need of permanent homes.
Who We Are
The Meow Haus is a safe, comfortable, and loving place to reside for cats and kittens, who would otherwise have died due to the overpopulation problem and limited space at public shelters. The Meow Haus is also the permanent home for rescued cats and kittens who are considered unadoptable due to behavior problems and special needs. Every kitty that is adopted out is spayed or neutered, and provided with initial vaccinations and necessary medical treatment.
*Funding for the Meow Haus is entirely out-of-pocket and by private donations.
MISSION: To provide a secure place and stimulating environment for felines to live while awaiting adoption and lifetime care for those we simply can't live without.
GOAL: To be unnecessary. We hope to achieve this by working along side other agencies to educate the public about the necessity of spaying and neutering so that companion animals will become a valued commodity.
Adopting a friend
There is an application to complete and a $65 adoption fee. Also, if a kitten is not yet altered then there is a $50 deposit until proof of alteration is received. Additional monies for donations are always welcome.
